Time spent on a creative project should not be stressful. Creating is a mindful activity. Your mind stays focused on one t item in front of you.
I have many family members with Alzheimer's. I spend large amounts of time reading and talking to medical professionals about prevention and maintaining a healthy mind. Mindful Creativity is a great way to develop a focused and healthy brain. Daily I use mindfulness when doing household chores or creating printables.
